For 20 years, I have been teaching the Book of Revelation several times a year. I teach students how to read the Bible inductively and in literary and historical contexts. In the process, I have collected a lot of notes on the subject and a fair bit of experience walking people through this wonderful but often misunderstood book. As time went on, rather than giving students a collection of handouts, I began to work on a reader’s guide that would put everything together in one book. After a dozen or so years, I have finally finished the book.
This reader’s guide includes questions at various points to help you apply Revelation’s powerful and encouraging message. It can be used for private study and reflection or as a tool for Bible study groups.
The Time Between begins with important background information and study techniques to make your study of this important set of prophecies more approachable and fruitful. Once you understand the context and background, it walks you through the book, unpacking the most difficult portions of the text.
The book ends with a selection of discussions about many of the topics surrounding the Book of Revelation and the Second Coming.
The Time Between is available here.
I hope you find it helpful.
Have a great week!
